from the old stable...

As water streamed down his body,

unruly thoughts took over his mind.

Innumerable songs he could hear,

but could not comprehend their rhyme…

He ran his hand through his damp mane,

it felt insane, yet so fine.

Abandoned, a corpse on the sand did lay,

while the world sat reclined...

He shuddered with horror, trembled with fright,

a tear betraying him escaped his eye.

A beam from the heavens descended alright,

blessing, it seemed, the man who had died…

Consumed with eerie thoughts,

their anonymity undefined

the deceased had turned into a beautiful girl,

with a truly intoxicating smile…

He tried real hard to block his mind,

clogged his ears, closed his eyes,

but before disappearing the lass did say,

it was all for real, not mere lies…

Several knocks on the door,

a threat to his life,

he closed the tap, wiped himself off, left the room,

but could not leave behind his strife…

Sahil!

Amazing imagery. You actually feel you're drawn into it.

That's the best appreciation I can give.

Cheerz!
